Artificial intelligence and the artistic field. Scientific, socio-cultural and ethical challenges.
Seminar-workshop
Starting from the premise that AI is one of the modelling factors of what we know as the hyperdigital society, this seminar reflected on the way in which AI rematerialises cultural objects, the new questions it forces us to ask ourselves in relation to cultural analysis, the uses that artists and creators are making of AI (and what kind of ethical and critical questions they are making visible), the configuration of a new aesthetic (and its problems) and the challenges posed by new generative models such as DALL-E or IMAGEN. This seminar-workshop Seminar-workshop was intended for students of the master's degree in Social Developments of Artistic Culture, being for them a general approach to the use of artificial intelligence systems, including PLN, for art-historical research.
