Which ones do we need and which ones do we not have? How do we measure cultural value?  These are some of the questions that were raised in this seminar, the first in a series dedicated to exploring in depth the problems, challenges and opportunities represented by the elaboration of cultural evaluation indicators that can be useful for the design of public cultural policies. Specifically, the seminar reflected on which dimensions need and deserve to be evaluated and how AI technologies and <em>big data<\/em> can be an incentive to establish these new models. This seminar, in addition to Complexihibit, is part of the Andalex project, funded by the Junta de Andaluc\u00eda and the Ministry of Science and Innovation, respectively, and coordinated by the iArtHis_Lab research group at the University of Malaga. Within the framework of these projects, a repository of data on the exhibition ecosystem in Spain over the last decades has been developed.
